Happy New Years Eve Everyone!!

We didn't do anything to special to bring in the New Year. Taye went with Dustin's Parents to see his Grandma Margret. It was really nice to get a little break from having both kids. Fayth only made it to 8pm, she just couldn't stay awake any longer, and Taye seems to be sick and couldn't stay up past 10pm.

Me and Dustin really enjoyed just spending time at home, with our little family and eachother, I wouldn't have wanted to bring the New Year in.

Even though we had someone to babysit and more than a few parties to go to we just really wanted to spend this time together.

I hope you all enjoyed your last day of 2011, and I hope you all have an amazing 2012! Thanks for reading <3

Today has just been one of those days, one of those days you just cannot wait for it to end. Taye is so tired and grumpy. I'm really not going to update much because I really dont have much to say and we didnt do anything today. I Just caught up on Laundry and house work :)

Birthday Planning #6

Hi everyone :)

I really hope your Christmas was amazing!!

Sorry it's taken me so long to do an update on her birthday party. Dustin is back at work for a few days again, so I have to wait for him to get home so I can get to the city to get all her party supplies. But I can show you what our final plan is before we actually buy anything.

Party Supplies

Balloons - Were thinking pink and purple, just going to keep it really nice and simple with the colours :) Were buying one bag of each colour Example:

Streamers - Were going to keep to the pink and purple pattern emerging here.

We need 4 Packages of this for wall, window, roof and table décor.

Table Clothes - I need to buy three, one for our counter, one for the table and one for the high chair for her cake smash. (2 Pink&1 Dora)

We also need a Happy Birthday or Happy 1st Birthday Banner, Were still undecided if were going to pick a Dora Banner or just a normal one?

I really love the Dora banners like these, what do you think?

But I also really love this type of banner.. Darnit I'm torn two ways :(

Blog #59

Dustin had to go to work for the night :( So he left here at 9am for the night.

My little brother went home since he will be going back to my Mom's this weekend. Which sucks since we never really get to see him, and we love spending time with him!

We really didn't do much just cleaned the house honestly, I just couldn't bring myself two wrap the kids all up to go out in this crappy weather for all of five minutes (since Fayth hates the cold like her Daddy haha)

Blog #58

Today was a hang out at home, We enjoyed having Dustin and my little brother Derrek over to play :) The kids have enjoyed playing with all of the new toys they've gotten and watching the movies.

I still cannot believe how spoilt the kids got, I can't even begin to explain how thankful we truly are to our loving family and friends.

Everyone obviously knew what they needed, and what they like because they both love every single thing they got. I will have to do some serious reviews on some of these things (and what she gets for her birthday) because I want to really share the things we have.

Were still trying to figure out where everything is going to go, and also just getting the much needed tidy up done after such a beautiful hectic holiday.

Blog #57

We went into the city today to do some shopping! We went to the Mall first, It was just sickly busy, hot and claustrophobic. We went Straight into BabiesRUs / ToysRUs.
After walking around for a few minutes I realised that they had sold out of the Dora The Explorer bedset we wanted to buy her :( And Then we seen that they were also sold out of the Dora toy box we wanted to get her. (I think thats what we will get her for her birthday instead!) We ended up finding A Dora chair (which may I add she addores, she freaked out when we got home and gave it to her, she just yelled and sat down then stood up, sat down you know :)

We also grabbed her a little doll stroller, It was requested to us by a friend, and boy was she right, Fayth is in love with it, She pushes her dolls all over the house:) I swear shes put every doll and teddy bear she owns in there and took it for a ride, well she picks the stroller up and drags it behind her lol

Next were on a mission to find Taye a Hockey stick to go with the awesome new skates he got, they didn't have nearly the selection we had expected, so we ended getting him a learning Hockey Stick with a ball and Puck. Which means we will have to go out and get him a new stick next year. And they didn't have a hockey helmet (How Silly is that) We did end up finding him the cutest Edmonton Oilers Hockey Jersey
