Taye's Pre School Orientation - [09/05/12]

So today was a really exciting day for us!
Taye got to go to his pre school for his orientation to meet his teacher Mrs. Hall and all of his new friends at school! They got to make hand prints, play with clay, a really neat water table with different levels to dump the water into, a big car track and ramp and he got to play with a huge para shoot that you can make big waves with and you can sit under it like a tent, it was really neat to see how well he interacts with other kids, and how brave and independent he has become!

So basically the school day routine will be.

12:30pm leave to walk Taye to school
12:45pm be at the school
sign in
hang your coat up, and take off your shoes at your coat hook.
put on your indoor shoes and name tag.
put your snack on the snack table in the kitchen.
wash your hands in the bathroom.
sit on the floor for the welcome song.
2:45pm pick Taye up from school.
grab your lunch kit.
hang up your name tag and put away your indoor shoes.
put on your shoes and coat.

and they do all kinds of neat crafts and activities through out the year, for like Halloween, Thanks-giving, Christmas, Easter ect.

i cannot believe how good he was doing today, he didn't even really care if I was there. He is so excited to go back on Monday all by himself!

He was answering questions, and talking to everyone, he really loves play school and it's such a relief to know that he is happy there!

Sibling Love - [09/03/12]

I decided today when I seen the kids all cuddled up together on the couch while they watched cartoons this afternoon that I should talk a little about their relationship!

I remember one of my first thoughts when I found out that I was pregnant again was is he going to be jealous, is he going to be mad at us, is he going to hate the baby?

After Fayth was born, and we walked threw the door with the car-seat he instantly went up to the car-seat to meet her, he knew I wasn't pregnant any more. He had the biggest eyes I had ever seen, such joy and excitement to meet his new baby (as he called her!) He wanted to touch her and hold her and kiss her, he would just cuddle up with us on the couch and watch her sleep. I had never though that he would be so instantly in love with her as we were!

And now almost 20 months later they are just as close as you could even imagine!

Cleaning Grandpa's Boat - [07.28.12] - #271

We went to help Dustin's Dad with the portable garage, because a couple of weeks ago there was a terrible storm and the wind ripped apart the canopy.
So we decided to pull the boat out after taking the garage down, and washed it all up. Taytor got to help on the boat & got to play with the wake board.

Westerner Days - [07-19-12] - #262

We took the kids to the local fair (Westerner Days) today.
Taye went on almost all the rides, and he was so brave about going on each and every one of them. The kids had a blast, got to hang out with Uncle Brandyn, And Uncle Derrek all day. And even grandpa Pete came to watch Taytor on all the rides :)
