How your baby's growing:

Get ready for a growth spurt. In the next few weeks, your baby will double his weight and add inches to his length. Right now, he's about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. His legs are much more developed, his head is more erect than it has been, and his eyes have moved closer to the front of his head. His ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of his scalp has begun, though his locks aren't recognizable yet. He's even started growing toenails. And there's a lot happening inside as well. For example, his heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as your baby continues to develop.

How your life's changing:

The top of your uterus is about halfway between your pubic bone and your navel, and the round ligaments that support it are thickening and stretching as it grows. You're probably feeling a whole lot better as you settle into pregnancy, too. Less nausea, fewer mood swings, and "glowing" skin contribute to an overall sense of well-being.

Soon you'll experience one of the most wonderful moments of pregnancy — feeling your baby move. While some women notice "quickening" as early as 16 weeks, many don't feel their baby move until about 18 weeks or more. (And if this is your first baby, don't be too impatient — you may not be aware of your baby's movements until 20 weeks or so.) The earliest movements may feel like little flutters, gas bubbles, or even like popcorn popping. Over the following weeks they'll grow stronger and you'll be able to feel them much more frequently.

How much weight should I gain?

Aim to gain about 12 to 14 pounds this trimester (toward a total of 25 to 35 for your whole pregnancy).

Directions:
1.Go to the store and buy a red cabbage. The size of the cabbage does not matter at all.
2.Cut the cabbage into big chunks. The smaller you cut the chunks, the better your results will turn out.
3. Boil some water on the stove and put in the chunks of cabbage.
4. Let the water and cabbage boil for about 10 minutes or so. When the ten minutes is up, remove it from the heat.
5. Grab a cup and go to the bathroom! Pee into the cup.
6. In a separate cup, mix 1 part of your urine to 1 part of the water that the cabbage was boiled in. No need to save the cabbage unless you want to eat it. It's pretty tasty, so you might want to eat it!
7. If the urine/cabbage water turns pink or red then this indicates a boy result! If the urine/cabbage water turns purple, this indicates a girl result.

So, on April 29th (My OH's Birthday) i told him i though i could be pregnant seeing ass i was late on my lady time, my boobs were sore, i had been very tired, and i just had a feeling deep down. We had talked about it a litttle bit, but he kind of just dismissed it as i was making a big deal and had been stressed out latley. So the next day we decided maybe it was a good idea to pick up a test, if it was negitive then at least we knew. So i picked one up from Walmart since i had to grab some stuff for my 28 month old son. We got home shortly after that. I went up to the bathroom and took the test, i litterally pee'd on the stick and a few  moments later i got a positive 3+ meaning five + weeks. Although we had been trying for the past two weeks, i was in utter shock.

I came out of the loo, looked at him and handed him the test.  I swear he was pale, yes we had been trying but wow, 2 weeks after we decided we were ready we were having a baby! For the first 20 minutes after we got our positive, he would just look at me, smile and say "I love you Angle" over and over. He called his parents first, told them the news, it took a little while to sink in but they are very excited now. Next was my parents they were very over joyed, so excited to have another grandchild =)


This is at 7 weeks, about two weeks after we found out about our  wee one =) By 7 weeks it had real set in really hit me, were having a baby. I just couldnt wait for an ultrasound, to find out how far along i was and when my due date was (my guess at this point was Jan 6th 2011). I was experiencing alot of nausea, and extream exhastion. Which is not great when you have a two year old and your OH works out of town ten on four off. But i was so over joyed!

This is my 8 week photo. Already 2 months =0 I get to go for an ultrasound on June 11th 2010, and i could not be more excited, We will find out how close i really am to knowing my due date. I hope im right on lol. My OH is getting more and more excited! At this point everyone that we know knows were having a baby, even some people we dont know lol. were hoping for a girl, but either way we will be extatic.

We also have names picked out, if we do get our little girl her name will be Fayth Lee Rose Duda <3 and if we are blessed with a boy his name will be Samuiel Allen Ross Duda =) Ohh i am so excited, and picking names were so easy.





So suddenly June 11th 2010 was here, we are so excited, we get to see the baby for the first time, make sure its growing right in there! So anyways, the babies heart rate was 165bpm, 46.2mm and absolutly perfect, it was sucking its thumb. Dustin was sooo excited so happy, he was like a little kid in a candy store i think everything has really sunk in, after the ultrasound he called everyone and told them all about it, we had to show everyone our pictures too. Oh how we love this little one <3 Im 10w4ds and due January 2 2011, i was so close to where i thought i was, were hoping for a New Years Baby !

I just cant wait to meet my little one oh my how special you are to us, and how much we cant wait until you here in our arms, to complete our family <3

Well, I was Due February 5th 2008, My due date came and past, after sitting at 3cms for the past three weeks, and having doctors telling me it would be any day now. Finally after 8 long painful days my doctor finally told me he would have to induce. On February 13th 2008 at 5:45am we received a call asking us to come in to the hospital at 8am.

February 13th 2008:

- 8:30pm Was Monitored until 9am.

- 9:05pm 3cms

- 10:15am Was Given Cervidel (to soften my cervix)

- Waited.....

- 9:30pm I was transferred to the labor ward.

February 14th 2008:

- 6am I lost my mucus plug/ Had my show.

- 9am pitocin induction started

- 1pm I had a Shower

- 2:30pm Got out of the shower/ got dressed.

- 2:32pm 6cms

- 2:38pm Waters broke naturally

- 2:45pm 10cms

- 4:27pm Head Crowned

- 4:30pm He's Here!!

After 45 minutes of pushing Taye Matthew was born weighing 9lbs, 21.4 in" long, and a 35 cms head (ouch). No drug labor, no tearing, and no stitches!
